Erdine's fish pie

Ingredients:
1 lbsFish fillet, cooked
1/2 tspSalt
1 cupPeas, canned or frozen
1 tbspOnion, minced
1 tbspGreen pepper, minced
2 cupMashed potato, seasoned
SAUCE
2 tbspButter or margarine
2 tbspFlour
1/2 tspSalt
1/8 tspPepper
1 cupMilk OR
-half milk and half
-poaching liquid
Procedures:
1Poach the fish in a small amound of water; flake the fish.
2Make a white sauce with the butter, flour, salt, pepper and milk.
3Cook until smooth and thickened.
4In a buttered casserole, combine the fish, salt, peas, onion, green pepper and white sauce; cover with a layer of mashed potato seasoned with ?cup of butter, ?cup milk, salt and pepper.
5Bake in a hot oven, 400 °F., for 25 minutes, or until hot and bubbly
