Ingredients:
2 lbsGround meat (beef, veal &
-pork)
1 Onion, grated
1/2 cupBread crumbs
Ds Salt, pepper
1 tspWorcestershire sauce
2 Eggs, beaten
4 tbspButter
2 cupStock or consomme
4 tbspFlour
1/4 cupSherry
Procedures:
1Mix first six ingredients, shape into small balls.
2Brown in butter.
3Add stock, cover skillet and simmer for 15 minutes.
4Remove the meat balls, keep warm.
5Thicken the gravy with the flour blended with a little cold water.
6Cook 5 minutes, add sherry.
7Reheat meat balls in gravy
