Ingredients:
1 packKraft Deluxe Macaroni &
-Cheese Dinner (14 oz)
-OR
1 packVelveeta Shells & Cheese
-Dinner (12 oz)
2 1/4 cupHot water (use 1 ?c for
-Velveeta Shells & Cheese)
1/2 tbspDry mustard (opt)
1/2 cupSour cream (use 1/3 c for
-Velveeta Shells & Cheese)
Procedures:
1Prep time: 5 minutes; cooking time: 40 minutes plus standing.
2Heat oven to 375°F.
3Mix water and mustard in 1 ?quart casserole dish.
4Whisk in cheese sauce from pouch.
5Stir in dry pasta; cover with tight-fitting lid.
6Bake 30 minutes.
7Uncover.
8Stir in sour cream.
9Continue baking, uncovered, 10 minutes.
10Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
11Makes 6 servings.
12Stir-in ideas: reduce water to 2 cups (reduce water to 1 ?cups for velveeta shells & cheese).
13Add 1 cup chopped cooked broccoli and 1 cup chopped ham or 1 cup cooked peas and 1 cup chopped cooked chicken when stirring in sour cream.
14Continue as directed above.
15Variations: top with combined ?crushed crackers and 1 tablespoon melted margarine after stirring in sour cream.

17Substitute lowfat or nonfat sour cream for regular sour cream
