Ingredients:
1 tbspButter or margarine
1/3 cupOnion, chopped
1 cupCatsup
1/2 cupWater
1/4 cupLemon juice, fresh
2 tbspCider vinegar
2 tbspJack Daniel's Tennessee
-Whiskey
2 tbspBrown sugar, light
1 tbspWorcestershire sauce
1 tspMustard, prepared
1/2 tspChili powder
1/4 tspPepper
5 lbsPork spareribs
Procedures:
1In saucepan, melt butter over medium-high heat.
2Add onion.
3Cook, stirring, 3 minutes or until soft.
4Stir in remaining ingredients except ribs; bring to boil.
5Reduce heat; simmer, stirring often, 20 minutes.
6Meanwhile, preheat oven to 375 degrees.
7Place ribs in single layer in two baking pans.
8Bake 1 ?hours or until tender.
9Drain and discard drippings from pans.
10Spread half of the barbeque sauce evenly over the ribs.
11Reduce heat to 350 degrees.
12Bake ribs 15 minutes.
13Turn and brush with remaining sauce.
14Bake 15 minutes. serve
