Ingredients:
1 cupMixed legumes
3 cupWater
1 lbsMixed vegetables
4 tbspGhee
1 smallOnion, diced.
2 ea Garlic cloves, chopped
1 ea Green chili, chopped
1/2 tspTurmeric
2 tspGaram masala
Salt to taste
1 tbspLemon juice
3 tbspChopped cilantro
Procedures:
1Wash legumes & soak for an hour.
2Place water & legumes in a large pot & bring to a boil.
3Cut vegetables into bite sized pieces & add to the legumes.
4Cook for 10 minutes.
5Heat ghee in a separate pot & saute onion & garlic till golden.
6Stir in chili, turmeric & garam masala.
7Mix thouroughly.
8Transfer legumes & vegetables into pot with ghee mixture & stir well.
9Add salt & cook for another 20 minutes until everything is tender.
10Add lemon juice & cilantro & serve hot.
