Chicken a la king

Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter, or less
1 cupCelery, chopped
4 ozFresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cupFlour
2 cupChicken Broth, thawed if
-necessary
2 cupChicken Mix (recipe), thawed
1 cupMilk
1/4 cupPimento, chopped (optional)
3 tbspFresh parsley, chopped, or
- 1 tb. parsley flakes
Cooked rice
Slivered almonds (optional)
Procedures:
1Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet.
2Add celery and mushrooms and saute until tender.
3Blend in flour and let simmer 1 minute.
4Slowly add chicken broth, stirring constantly.
5Cook about 3 minutes to finish cooking flour, stirring constantly.
6Add chicken mix, milk, pimento and parsley.
7If using fresh parsley, save 1 tb. for garnish.
8Serve over hot cooked rice, garnished with remaining parsley.
9If you had to use parsley flakes, garnish with a few slivered almonds, or lacking almonds, some paprika
