Ingredients:
Casserole
4 cupCubed cooked turkey
3 cupCubed cooked ham
1 cupShredded cheddar cheese
1 cupChopped onion
1/4 cupButter or margarine
1/3 cupAll purpose flour
2 cupLight cream
1 tspDill weed
1/8 tspDry mustard
1/8 tspGround nutmeg
TOPPING
1 cupDry bread crumbs
2 tspMelted butter or margarine
1/4 tspDry dill weed
1/4 cupShredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cupChopped walnuts
Procedures:
1In a large bowl, combine turkey, ham and cheese, set aside.
2In a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender.
3Add flour, stir to form a paste.
4Gradually add cream stirring constantly.
5Bring to a boil, boil 1 minute or until thick.
6Add dill, mustard and nutmeg, mix well.
7For the topping, toss bread crumbs, butter and dill; stir in cheese and walnuts.
8Sprinkle over the casserole.
9Bake uncovered at 350 °F for 30 minutes or until heated through.
