Ingredients:
| 3
| cup | Chick peas | | 2
| tbsp | Vegetable oil | | 2
| each | Garlic cloves, minced | | 1
| large | Onion, chopped | | 2
| each | Celery stalks, chopped | | 2
| each | Carrots, finely chopped | | 1/4
| cup | Tamari | | 1
| tsp | Cumin powder | | 1
| each | Salt to taste | | 1/4
| tsp | Turmeric | | 3
| tbsp | Tahini |

Procedures:
| 1 | Place soaked chick peas in a pot & cook for 50 minutes to 1 hour, till soft. | | 2 | Drain, save the stock & mash well. | | 3 | Heat ol in large skillet & saute garlic & onions for 5 minutes. | | 4 | Add celery, carrot, tamari, 2 tsp parsley, cumin, salt & turmeric. | | 5 | Saute till vegetables are tender. | | 6 | Add to the mashed chick peas & mix well. | | 7 | Add the tahini & mix well. | | 8 | Place in a large baking pan or two small loaf pans & bake at 375f for 45 minutes. | | 9 | Serve with a salad &/or vegetables on the side. | | 10 | "the cookbook for people who love animals |
