Ingredients:

| lbs | Green beans | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | | Hot water | | 4
| oz | Mushrooms | | | Salt and pepper to taste | | 1
| tsp | Sugar | | | Pn Baking soda | | 2
| oz | Butter | | 1/2
| cup | Cream | | | Chopped parsley |

Procedures:
| 1 | Wash, string and slice beans. | | 2 | Place them in a saucepan together with sugar, salt, soda and enough water to cover. | | 3 | Simmer gently for about 15 minutes. | | 4 | Drain. | | 5 | In a saucepan melt the butter and in it saute the sliced mushrooms. | | 6 | Add the beans and gently blend in the cream. | | 7 | Simmer for 2 minutes. | | 8 | Season to taste and serve garnished with chopped parsley |
