Ingredients:
1 tbspOlive or vegetable oil
2 Chicken breasts, skinless
-boneless, cut into strips
1/2 lbsItalian sausage, casing
-removed, crumbled
1 medGreen bell pepper, cut into
-2 inch strips
2 Garlic cloves, minced
11 1/2 ozItalian-style tomato soup
1 cupWater
Procedures:
1In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
2Add the chicken and cook until browned.
3Remove the chicken; set aside.
4Reduce heat to medium.
5In the same skillet, cook the sausage, green pepper and garlic, stirring, until the sausage is browned and the pepper is tender.
6Spoon off fat.
7Stir in the soup and water.
8Heat to boiling and return chicken to the skillet.
9Reduce the heat to low.
10Cover; cook for 6 to 7 minutes more, or until the chicken is no longer pink, stirring occasionally.
11Serve over hot cooked rice
