Ingredients:

| | Boneless, skinless chicken | | | Breast halves | | | Salt, pepper, garlic powder | | | Curry powder, flour | | 1/4
| cup | Butter or margarine | | 1/2
| lbs | Fresh mushrooms, thickly | | | Sliced | | 1/4
| cup | Amaretto di Saronno | | | Grated rind & juice of one | | | Lemon | | 1 1/2
| cup | Chicken broth | | 1
| tbsp | Cornstarch | | | Patty shells |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cut chicken into 1-inch wide strips. | | 2 | Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder and curry powder. | | 3 | Roll strips in flour. | | 4 | Heat butter or margarine in a large skillet. | | 5 | Brown chicken pieces on all sides. | | 6 | Add mushrooms, amaretto di sarono, grated lemon rind and juice. | | 7 | Simmer 5 minutes. | | 8 | Mix chicken broth and cornstarch; stir mixture into skillet. | | 9 | Stir over low heat until mixture bubbles and thickens. | | 10 | Season to taste with salt, if necessary. | | 11 | Spoon mixture into patty shells. | | 12 | Optional garnish: diced tomato and parsley |
