Ingredients:
3 tbspReduced calorie margarine
3 tbspFlour
1/2 tspSalt
1/4 tspDried thyme
1/8 tspPepper
3/4 cupChicken broth
3/4 cupWhipping cream
2 cupCooked chicken or turkey
-cut into 1 inch pieces
1 pack10 oz frozen peas & carrots
Pastry for 9" 2 crust pie
1 cupCanned small whole onions
Procedures:
1Heat margarine in 3 qt. saucepan over low heat until melted.
2Stir in flour, salt, thyme and pepper.
3Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture is smooth and bubbly; remove from heat.
4Stir in broth and whipping cream; heat to boiling, stirring constantly.
5Boil 1 minute, then stir in chicken, peas and carrots, and onions.
6Heat oven to 425°F.
7Prepare pastry.
8Fill bottom crust with mixture and top with top crust.
9Bake 35-45 minutes, or until golden brown
