Ingredients:
2 tbspButter
2 tbspCooking oil
2 Broiler chickens, cut up
Salt & Peppers to taste
3 medOnions, chopped
1 Garlic clove, crushed
2 tbspPaprika (Hungarian is best)
2 1/2 tbspFlour
1 cupChicken broth
2 cupSour cream
Hot cooked noodles
Parsley as garnish
Procedures:
1Heat butter and oil in skillet.
2Season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper, then brown.
3Remove and let drain on paper towels.
4Cook onions and garlic in remaining fat until soft.
5Add paprika and flour, cook and stir 3 minutes.
6Add chicken broth, then sour cream.
7Cook and stir over low heat until thick and smooth.
8Replace chicken in skillet.
9Bake covered at 350 °F for one hour.
10Serve over hot cooked noodles.
11Garnish with parsley.
