Chicken packets

Ingredients:
2 cupCooked, chopped chicken
3 ozPackage cream cheese
-softened
1 tbspChopped chives
2 tbspMilk
1/2 cupCrushed, seasoned crouton
-crumbs
2 packRefrigerated crescent rolls
1/4 cupMelted margarine
Procedures:
1Mix chicken, cream cheese, chives, milk and salt in a medium bowl (mixing with hands works best) to make filling, and store in a 1 quart freezer bag.
2Put crouton crumbs in another 1 quart bag, attach it to bag of chicken filling, and freeze them.
3Refrigerate crescent rolls.
4To prepare for serving, thaw chicken mixture.
5Unroll crescent rolls.
6Each tube will contain 4 rectanngles of dough with a diagonal perforation.
7Press dough along each perforation so the rectangle halves will not separate.
8Place about ?cup of chicken mixture into the center of each rectangle.
9Fold dough over the filling, and pinch the edges to seal tightly.
10Dip each packet in melted margarine, and coat with crouton crumbs.
11Place packets on a baking sheet.
12Bake in a preheated 350 oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
13Pakcets are good either hot or cold.
14Makes 8 packets
