Ingredients:
1/4 cupWater
1/2 cupSugar
6 Egg yolks
2 cupHeavy cream
2 tspVanilla
Procedures:
1In small saucepan, combine water and sugar, stirring, boil 2 minutes.
2Beat egg yolks at high speed.
3Continue beating eggs while drizzling with hot syrup.
4Beat until cool, about 5 minutes.
5Whip heavy cream into soft peaks.
6Fold into egg mixture.
7Add vanilla.
8Chill and stir freeze.
9Note: this recipe is for a 1-quart machine.
10Double or triple ingredients if needed for your machine.
