| cup | Shredded coconut optional | | 1
| cup | Peanuts | | 1
| cup | Packed light brown sugar | | 1/2
| cup | (1 stick) butter | | 1/2
| cup | Light corn syrup | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla extract | | 1/2
| tsp | Baking soda | | 12
| oz | Pkg (2 cup) semi-sweet | | | -chocolate morsels | | 1 1/2
| cup | Raisins |

Procedures:
| 1 | Preheat oven to 250 degrees. | | 2 | Combine cereal, coconut and peanuts in large, small roasting pan. | | 3 | In small saucepan over medium heat, heat brown sugar, butter and corn syrup to boiling, stirring. | | 4 | Without stirring, boil 5 minutes. | | 5 | Stir in vanilla and baking soda. | | 6 | Pour over cereal mixture, stir until evenly coated. | | 7 | Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. | | 8 | Cool, stirring frequently. | | 9 | Stir in morsels and raisins. | | 10 | Store in airtight container |
