| tbsp | Soft butter | | 2
| oz | Genoa (Italian) salami | | | -thinly sliced | | 4
| oz | Gruyere Cheese, thinly | | | -sliced |

Procedures:
| 1 | Salt and pepper preheat oven to 350 °F. | | 2 | Slice each croissant open, starting from the front and leaving the back unbroken. | | 3 | Divide the salami and arrange over the bottom of each croissant. | | 4 | Cover with the cheese and season to taste with salt and pepper. | | 5 | Place in the oven for 10 minutes or until the croissants are hot through and the cheese has melted. | | 6 | Cut in half and serve hot. | | 7 | Serves 4 this is a simple but very delicious combination of tastes, ideal for days when the sociable libran has little time to spend in the kitchen. | | 8 | Serve it as a starter, or a light lunch dish with a green salad and red italian wine |
