Ingredients:
6 eachSLICES WHITE BREAD
3 ozCREAM CHEESE
1 cupSHREDDED CHEDDAR CHEESE
1/2 cupBUTTER
2 eachEGG WHITES
Procedures:
1Cut crusts off the bread slices.
2Cut into 1" squares in a sauce pan combine cheeses and butter.
3Heat over low heat until melted.
4Stir to mix thoroughly.
5Beat egg whites until stiff.
6Slowly pour cheese mixture into beaten egg whites and fold gently.
7Dip bread cubes in cheese mixture and coat well.
8Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
9Refrigerate 1 hour or freeze 15 minutes.
10Preheat oven to 350 deg f.
11Bake for 15 minutes or until light golden brown.
12Makes 54 melts
