Ingredients:
12 Fresh tomatoes
2 smallOnions, chopped
1/2 cupDiced celery
1 cupChicken stock
1 cupCream
1 tspGround basil
Salt
Black pepper
8 ozCheddar cheese, shredded
Procedures:
1Recipe by: elizabeth powell preparation time: 0:30 combine tomatoes, onions, and celery in food processor and blend until coarsely chopped.
2Pour into large saucepan, add chicken stock, and bring to a boil over medium heat.
3Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes.
4Add cream.
5Season with basil, salt, and pepper.
6Cook over very low heat for five minutes.
7Add cheese and cook, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
8Serve at once
