| cup | Dry bread crumbs | | 1 1/2
| tbsp | Chili powder | | 1
| tbsp | Ground cumin | | 1
| tbsp | Thyme leaves | | 1/4
| tbsp | Red pepper | | 2
| lbs | Boneless chicken breast | | 1
| | Oil |

Procedures:
| 1 | * you can use onion or onion-mushroom recipe soup mix in this recipe. | | 2 | ** chicken breasts should be cut into 1-inch pieces. | | 3 | In large bowl, combine onion recipe soup mix, bread crumbs, chili powder, cumin, thyme and pepper. | | 4 | Dip chicken in bread crumb mixture, coating well. | | 5 | In large skillet, heat ?inch oil and cook chicken over medium heat, turning once, until done; drain on paper towels. | | 6 | Serve warm and if desired with assorted mustards. | | 7 | Microwave directions: prepare chicken as above. | | 8 | In 13 x 9-inch baking dish, arrange chicken, then drizzle with 2 to 3 t oil. | | 9 | Heat uncovered at high (full power) 6 minutes or until chicken is done, rearranging chicken once; drain on paper towels. | | 10 | Serve as above. | | 11 | Makes about 5 dozen nuggets |
