| 1 | Preheat oven to 350 degrees. |
| 2 | Cut pitas in half forizontally. |
| 3 | Cut into 4 equal poritons. |
| 4 | Separate into 32 pieces. |
| 5 | Place on an ungreased baking sheet. |
| 6 | Brush with melted margarine. |
| 7 | Combine salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, pepper flakes, garlic powder and basil in a small bowl. |
| 8 | Sprinkle over pita chips. |
| 9 | Bake for 10 minutes or until chips become crisp. |
