Butterscotch bars

Ingredients:
1/4 cupButter Flavor Crisco
1 packButterscotch Chips *
- 12 ounce package
1 cupPeanut Butter, creamy style
1/3 cupMilk
2 cupGraham Cracker crumbs
1 cupPeanuts, salted, chopped
1 packChocolate Chips, semi-sweet
- 6 ounce package
3 tbspButter Flavor Crisco
Finely chopped Peanuts
Procedures:
1Preparation time: 20 minutes bake time: none * peanut butter chips may be substituted for the butterscotch chips.
2Combine ?cup butter flavor crisco, butterscotch chips, peanut butter and milk in top of double boiler over hot water.
3Stir occasionally until mixture is melted and smooth.
4Combine graham cracker crumbs and 1 cup chopped nuts in large bowl.
5Pour butterscotch mixture over crumbs.
6Stir until combined.
7Spread mixture in ungreased 9x9x2 inch pan.
8( hint: if a 9x9x2 inch pan is not available, form a 9x9x2 inch tray by lining a 13x9x2 inch pan with aluminum foil.
9) refrigerate until firm.
10Cut into bars ?x 1 ?inches.
11Combine chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons butter flavor crisco in top of double boiler over hot water.
12Stir occasionally until chocolate melts.
13Place one bar at a time in melted chocolate.
14Turn with fork.
15Lift from chocolate on fork.
16Allow excess to drip off.
17Place on paper lined baking sheet.
18Sprinkle top with finely chopped nuts.
19Return to refrigerator to harden chocolate.
20Makes 5 1/5 to 6 dozen bars.
