Ingredients:

| | Kishka | | 4
| cup | Flour | | 3/4
| lbs | Suet, ground beef fat | | 4
| tsp | Salt | | 2
| tsp | Pepper | | 2
| large | Carrot, grated | | 2
| | Onions, grated | | 2
| | Celery, grated |

Procedures:
| 1 | Combine fat and flour. | | 2 | Blend well. | | 3 | Add vegetables, salt, and pepper. | | 4 | Knead well. | | 5 | Stuff kishka loosely, like a turkey, only ?inch thick. | | 6 | (flatten it). | | 7 | Lay stuffed kishka around in a roasting pan. | | 8 | Add cold salted water to cover. | | 9 | Cover pan and simmer on top of stove about 1 hour. | | 10 | Slice and serve hot. | | 11 | My note: my bubbe used to make this all the time. | | 12 | When she didn"t have kishka, she used the loose skin from the turkey or chicken. | | 13 | We called it helzel. | | 14 | She stuffed that after she sewed into a tube. | | 15 | It was soooo good |
