Blue cheese-walnut shortbread

Ingredients:
1/3 cupWalnuts, chopped
2 tbspGranulated sugar
2 tbspConfectioners sugar
1/2 cupButter, cut up
1/4 cupBlue cheese, crumbled
1 1/4 cupAll-purpose flour
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 325 °F.
2In the bowl of a food processor, chop together walnuts and sugars.
3Add butter and blue cheese and blend just a couple of seconds, until a crumbly consistency (don"t let it form a ball).
4Add flour and pulse about 10-20 times.
5Pat into an 8-inch cake pan.
6Score with a knife into 8 to 12 wedges.
7Bake at 325 °F for 15 minutes.
8Remove from oven, deepen score with a knife, and return to oven.
9Bake at 325 °F for another 15 minutes, or until done.
10Cool on a rack.
11Serve with fresh or poached pears, with a sauterne.
