| cup | Chopped onion | | 1
| large | Clove garlic, minced | | 1/4
| tsp | Oregano, crushed | | 1/8
| tsp | Thyme, crushed | | 2
| tbsp | Butter | | 1
| can | Tomato soup | | 1/2
| cup | Water | | 1
| can | Lunch meat, (12 oz) sliced | | 2
| tbsp | Shortening | | 1
| | Egg | | 1/2
| cup | Bread crumbs | | 2
| slice | Mozzarella cheese | | | Grated parmesan cheese |

Procedures:
| 1 | In saucepan, cook onion with garlic, oregano and thyme in butter until tender. | | 2 | Stir in soup and water; cook over low heat 15 minutes. | | 3 | Stir occasionally. | | 4 | Meanwhile, dip luncheon meat slices in egg, then in bread crumbs. | | 5 | In frying pan, brown meat in shortening. | | 6 | Turn and cover with sauce; top with mozzarella cheese. | | 7 | Sprinkle with parmesan cheese; cover until cheese melts. | | 8 | About 3 minutes. | | 9 | Submitted by jane knox on 09-11-9 |
