Campbell soup - roast pork party-style

Ingredients:
3 lbsLoin of pork
5 sliceOnion
3 sliceApple, cut in half
1/4 tspSage
1 canCream of chicken soup
1/4 cupSherry or substitute
1/2 cupWater
Procedures:
1Make 6 slits almost to bone in pork loin.
2Place a slice of onion and applie in each slit.
3Rub roast with sage; tie securely.
4Roast fat side up at 325 °F for 2 hours; pour off fat.
5Combine soup and wine, pour over meat.
6Roast 30 minutes more or until done, baste often with soup (total roasing time 35-40 minutes per pound).
7Remove meat from pan.
8On top of range, in roasting pan, add water to soup.
9Heat stirring to loosen browned bits; serve with roast.
