Ingredients:

| cup | Butter / margarine, softened | | 1/2
| cup | Onion, finely chopped | | 6
| slice | Bacon, cooked and crumbled | | 2
| tbsp | Fresh parsley, chopped | | | 2 ea 8-oz cans refrigerated | | | -crescent rolls |

Procedures:
| 1 | : combine first 4 ingredients. | | 2 | : unroll crescent rolls, and separate into 8 rectangles; firmly press diagonal perforations to seal. | | 3 | : spread butter mixture evenly over dough. | | 4 | Roll up each rectangle, beginning with short side; pinch seam to seal. | | 5 | Cut each into 4 slices. | | 6 | Place pinwheels on ungreased cookie sheets; flatten slightly. | | 7 | : bake at 375f for 15 minutes or until golden. | | 8 | Yield: 32 appetizers. | | 9 | Sl note: to freeze, bake bacon-onion appetizers, 10 minutes or until lightly browned; cool and freeze up to 3 months. | | 10 | To serve, thaw and place on a baking sheet; bake at 375f for 5 minutes. | | 11 | Sandra russell of florida, in november, 1994 "southern living" |
