| oz | Green chiles, diced | | 1
| lbs | Cheese, cheddar, monterey | | | - jack or american, grated | | 9
| oz | Cheese, as above | | | Tortilla chips, crisp |

Procedures:
| 1 | Combine refried beans and diced green chiles. | | 2 | Place 1 cup bean mixture in oven-proof serving dish. | | 3 | Top with 1 ounce grated cheese. | | 4 | Place under broil or in microwave over until cheese is melted. | | 5 | Serve immediately with crisp tortilla chips. | | 6 | May be gaarnished with sour cream, chopped green onions or sliced ripe olives, if desired. | | 7 | Makes 21 appetizer servings. | | 8 | Each appetizer serves Note: the above ingredients may also be used for burrito filling. | | 9 | To prepare, place 1 cup heated bean mixture in large warm flour tortilla. | | 10 | Top with 1 ounce grated cheese. | | 11 | Roll and fold envelope style. | | 12 | Serve. | | 13 | Makes 21 burritos. |
