Ingredients:

| lbs | Chicken wings, separated | | 3/4
| cup | Flour | | 1
| each | Egg, slightly beaten | | 1
| tbsp | Milk | | 3/4
| cup | Almonds, ground | | 1
| cup | White bread crumbs | | 2
| tsp | Salt | | 2
| tsp | Orange rind, grated | | 1
| each | Oil for deep frying | | | Plum sauce | | 2/3
| cup | Plum sauce | | 1/4
| cup | Orange sauce | | 1
| tsp | Cornstarch |

Procedures:
| 1 | The grated orange rind gives these wings a citrus flavour zing. | | 2 | Toss wings in flour. | | 3 | Shake off excess flour. | | 4 | In a bowl combine egg and milk. | | 5 | Set aside. | | 6 | In a bowl combine almonds bread crumbs salt and orange rind. | | 7 | Set aside. | | 8 | Dip chicken into egg mixture then in almond mixture refrigerate coated chickern for ?hour. | | 9 | In a microwave safe bowl combine plum sauce, orange juice and cornstarch. | | 10 | Cook over high heat for one minute until sauce thickens and boils. | | 11 | Set aside. | | 12 | Heat oil in frypan or wok to 375°F. | | 13 | Deep fry chicken for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. | | 14 | Drain on paper towel. | | 15 | Serve with plum orange sauce. | | 16 | Serves 2 to Calgary co-op advertising flyer nov. 18-24, 199 |
