Campbell soup - coq au vin

Ingredients:
4 sliceBacon
2 lbsChicken parts
1 canChicken broth
1/2 cupChablis or substitute
1 canSliced mushrooms (4 oz)
1/2 cupSliced onion
1 medBay leaf
1 largeClove garlic, minced
1/4 tspThyme leaves, crushed
1/2 cupWater
3 tbspFlour
Procedures:
1In frying pan, cook bacon until crisp; reove.
2Pour off all but 2 tablespoons drippings.
3Brown chicken in drippings; pour off fat.
4Add soup, wine, mushrooms, onion, bay leaf, garlic and thyme.
5Cover; cook over low heat 45 minutes or until done.
6Stir occasionally.
7Remove bay leaf.
8Gradually blend water into flour until smooth; slowly stir into sauce.
9Cook, stir until thickened.
10Garnish with parsley and bacon.
