| cup | Crushed Corn Flakes | | 1
| large | Egg | | 1
| tbsp | Water |

Procedures:
| 1 | Parboil sweet potatoes for about 10 minutes. | | 2 | Drain, peel and cut into strips. | | 3 | Mix egg with water and beat throughly. | | 4 | Seperate crushed corn flakes in two seperate bowls, making two ?cups each. | | 5 | Flour may be substitued for one of the bowls of flakes. | | 6 | Dip the cut potatoes in the flour or crushed flakes, then in the egg mixture and then again in the other bowl of crushed flakes. | | 7 | Deep fry in oil (375 to 385 degrees) until browned. | | 8 | Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with salt. | | 9 | A mixture of cinnamon and sugar could also be used for a sweet tastse |
