Ingredients:
2 lbsSausage cut ?in. thick
1 lbsBoneless chicken
1 1/2 largeOnions
1 Bell pepper
4 Cloves garlic
5 cupWater
3 tbspSalt
1/2 tspCayenne pepper
3 Bay leaves
6 ozTomato paste
1 lbsPeeled shrimp
3 cupRaw rice
Procedures:
1Saute sausage, chicken, onions, bell pepper and garlic until sausage and chicken are browned.
2Add the water, salt, cayenne, bay leaf and tomato paste.
3Bring to a boil with the lid on.
4When water boils add the shrimp and the raw rice.
5Stir and lower fire.
6Let rice simmer, stirring every five minutes until rice is cooked.
7Yield: 6-8 servings
