Ingredients:

| lbs | Ground chuck | | 1
| med | Onion, diced | | 1/2
| cup | Diced celery | | 1/4
| cup | Diced green pepper, optional | | 16
| oz | Can stewed tomatoes | | 10 1/4
| oz | Can tomato soup | | 2
| cup | Water | | 1 1/2
| cup | Coarsely chopped cabbage | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1
| tsp | Chili powder, to taste | | 1
| tbsp | Brown sugar |

Procedures:
| 1 | Cook and stir ground chuck in dutch oven until light brown. | | 2 | Add onion, celery and green pepper; cook several minutes. | | 3 | Stir in stewed tomatoes, soup, water, cabbage, salt, pepper, chili powder and brown sugar. | | 4 | Heat to boiling. | | 5 | Reduce and simmer until cabbage is tender. | | 6 | Serves 6 |
