Grilled portabellas

Ingredients:
6 eachWhole portabella mushrooms
-- cleaned, stems removed
VINAIGRETTE
1/4 cupVinegar
3/4 cupOlive oil
1 tspSugar
1 tspSalt
1/4 tspFreshly ground black pepper
1 tbspBalsamic vinegar
2 tspLemon juice
Procedures:
1Prepare vinaigrette: combine all vinaigrette ingredients in a lidded jar.
2Shake well just before using.
3Lay clean mushrooms in a shallow baking dish and pour ?cup of vinaigrette over it.
4Cover and marinate for up to 24 hours, turning the mushrooms once.
5When ready to cook, drain dressing; reserve for another purpose.
6To grill: place on grill over warm coals for 5 to 10 minutes, turning once.
7To broil: place on a baking sheet and set under broiler for 5 to 8 minutes.
8To bake: place baking dish in preheated 425°F oven for about 15 minutes.
9Note: you may substitute sliced portabellas.
10However, you may need to grill them on a piece of foil to avoid breakage.
11Poke holes in the foil to assure a good smoky flavor.
