Boysenberry syrup pie

Ingredients:
1 cupKnotts Berry Farm
-Boysenberry Syrup
1 cupWater
3 tbspCornstarch
2 Egg yolks
1 tspButter
1 Nilla Wafer pie crust
2 Egg whites
1 tbspKnotts Berry Farm
-Boysenberry Syrup
Procedures:
1Combine syrup, water, and corstarch and bring to a boil, stirring until thick.
2Remove from heat.
3Beat egg yolks, add a bit of the hot syrup mixture to the yolks, whisking constantly.
4Add the yolk mixture to the hot syrup and reheat until pudding consistency.
5Add the butter, and stir until melted.
6Cool slightly.
7Pour into pie crust.
8Beat egg whites stiff, adding slowly the tablespoon of syrup.
9If soft peaks do not form, add a little more syrup.
10Pile on pie and place in 400°F oven until peaks have browned.
