Ingredients:
1 lbsBeef (tip steak) cubed
1 lbsGround beef
2 Med. Onions, coarse chopped
2 Sm. Green Peppers, chopped
-med.
1/2 cupBurgundy wine
6 tbspChili powder (Mexene)
4 tbspCumin
3 clGarlic (small)
1 tspOregano
1 tbspChilantro leaves
2 tbspHot sauce (La Preferida)
1 tspSugar
2 dashSalt
1 canPeeled whole tomatoes with
-juice (16 oz.)
1 canStewed tomatoes (16 oz.)
1 canTomato sauce (8 oz).
1 canChili hot beans (15 ?oz.)
- Note: beans optional!
Procedures:
1Brown meat with 1 of the chopped onions.
2Drain grease.
3Place meat onions, remainder of onions, green peppers, and the rest of the ingredients into stockpot.
4Bring to boil.
5Reduce heat and simmer 1 or 2 hrs, covered.
6Cool 1 hr.
7Reaheat before serving.
8Concocted by bud cloyd (who had nothing better to do on a particular sunday afternoon).
