Ingredients:

| pack | Chocolate cake mix, with | | | - pudding | | 3
| | Eggs | | 1/2
| cup | Bourbon whiskey | | 1/2
| cup | Water, cold | | 1/3
| cup | Vegetable oil | | | FROSTING | | 1
| pint | Whipping cream | | 1/3
| cup | Unsweetened cocoa powder | | 1/2
| cup | Powdered sugar | | 1
| tsp | Vanilla | | 1/2
| cup | Bourbon | | 1
| cup | Nuts, chopped |

Procedures:
| 1 | Butter and flour two 9" round cake pans. | | 2 | Combine cake mix, eggs, bourbon, cold water and vegetable oil in large bowl of mixer. | | 3 | Beat for 2 minutes on high speed until very light. | | 4 | Pour into pans. | | 5 | Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until tests done. | | 6 | Cool in pans 10 minutes. | | 7 | Remove. | | 8 | Cool completely. | | 9 | Split layers in half horizontally. | | 10 | Spread frosting over each cake layer. | | 11 | Sprinkle with walnuts. | | 12 | Stack layers. | | 13 | Cover sides with frosting. | | 14 | Chill at least 2 hours. | | 15 | Frosting: in large mixing bowl, combine whipping cream, cocoa, powdered sugar and vanilla. | | 16 | Beat until stiff then fold in the bourbon |
