| tbsp | Oil | | 1
| large | Onion, sliced thin into | | | -rings | | 1
| tsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tsp | Black pepper | | 2
| | Whole cloves | | 1
| tbsp | Vinegar | | 1
| | Whole bay leaf | | 1
| tsp | Cinnamon | | 2
| tbsp | Catsup | | 2
| cup | Water | | 2
| oz | Semi-sweet baking | | | -chocolate, grated |

Procedures:
| 1 | Flour roast. | | 2 | Brown in oil on all sides. | | 3 | Remove roast from pan and set aside. | | 4 | Put onion rings into pot (dutch oven). | | 5 | Add salt and pepper. | | 6 | Put roast on top of onion rings, add cloves, vinegar, bay leaf, cinnamon, catsup and water. | | 7 | Put lid on pot. | | 8 | Let come to a boil and simmer about 2 ?hours or until roast is tender. | | 9 | Add grated chocolate and stir around roast. | | 10 | Let cook another 15 minutes. | | 11 | Remove cloves and bay leaf |
