Ingredients:
2 cupAll-purpose flour
2 tspBaking powder
1 tspSalt
1 tspCinnamon
1/2 cupButter, softened
3/4 cupGranulated sugar
1/2 cupBrown sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/4 cupChunky-style applesauce
1 cupWalnuts, chopped
Procedures:
11) sift the flour with the baking baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
22) cream the butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
33) beat in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
44) stir half of the dry ingredients into the sugar mixture and then half of the applesauce.
5Repeat.
65) fold nuts into batter.
7Pour into a well greased and floured 9x5x3 loaf pan.
86) bake at 350 °F for 1 hour, or until tester, inserted into center, comes out clean.
97) cool in pan for 10 minutes.
10Remove.
11Let bread cool completely on wire rack before slicing.
