| cup | Cracked wheat | | 1 1/2
| tbsp | Sugar | | 1/2
| tbsp | Salt | | 1/2
| tbsp | Caraway seeds | | 2
| | Garlic cloves, crushed | | 1
| med | Onions, chopped | | 1
| large | Apples, chopped | | 3
| tbsp | Butter | | 1/2
| cup | Water |

Procedures:
| 1 | Bring all ingredients to room temperature and pour into bakery, in order. | | 2 | Set "baking control" at 10 o"clock. | | 3 | Select "white bread" and push start. | | 4 | In hot & humid weather, use 1/8 c less water. | | 5 | This barely sweet, fruity rye tastes good with scrambled eggs or in a turkey sandwich. | | 6 | For tea sandwiches, slice thin and spread with cream cheese and toasted sliced almonds. |
