Ingredients:
1/2 cupButter or margarine
1 cupC and H Brown Sugar
-- firmly packed
2 cupQuick cooking rolled oats
1/4 tspSalt
1 tspBaking powder
Procedures:
1Combine butter and sugar in saucepan; cook and stir until butter melts.
2Remove from heat.
3Stir in remaining ingredients; mix well.
4Pour into greased 8-inch square pan.
5Bake in 350 degree oven 25 minutes.
6Cool; cut into 24 bars.
7Note: cookies will seem soft when baked, but will harden when cold.
