Ingredients:
1 1/2 cupCornmeal
1 1/2 tspBaking powder
3/4 tspBaking soda
1/2 tspSugar
1/2 tspSalt
1 1/2 cupButtermilk
1 Egg, beaten
Procedures:
1Sift together cornmeal, baking powder, soda, sugar, and salt; stir in buttermilk and egg, mixing well.
2Heat well greased cast iron corn stick pans in a 400 degree oven for 3 minutes or until very hot.
3Spoon batter into pans, filling two thirds full.
4Bake at 400 °F for 25 minutes or until lightly browned
