Ingredients:

| cup | California dried figs | | | -- (coarsely chopped) | | 1
| cup | Water | | 2
| tbsp | Honey | | | BREAKFAST BAR RECIPE | | 4 1/2
| cup | Flour | | 3
| tsp | Baking powder | | 3
| cup | Brown sugar | | 4 1/2
| cup | Oats | | 1/2
| cup | Butter or margarine | | | -- softened | | 1 1/2
| cup | Fig puree' | | 8
| oz | Raspberry jam |

Procedures:
| 1 | Fig puree: combine figs, water and honey in a saucepan; bring to a boil. | | 2 | Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes or until softened. | | 3 | Using knife blade in food processor bowl; add fig mixture. | | 4 | Process 10 seconds or until smooth. | | 5 | Preheat oven to 250°F. | | 6 | Mix all ingredients except jam. | | 7 | Form into "crumbs". | | 8 | Press half of mixture into pan sprayed with pam. | | 9 | Spread jam on crumb crust. | | 10 | Form top layer with remaining mixture. | | 11 | Bake 50-60 minutes. | | 12 | Nutritional information: calories 163, fat 4.77 g, protein 2.32 g, calcium 22 mg, fiber 1.06 g, iron 1.1 mg, potassium 82.7 mg, sodium 64.8 mg |
