Raspberry-fig breakfast bar recipe (and fig puree')

Ingredients:
FIG PUREE
1 1/2 cupCalifornia dried figs
-- (coarsely chopped)
1 cupWater
2 tbspHoney
BREAKFAST BAR RECIPE
4 1/2 cupFlour
3 tspBaking powder
3 cupBrown sugar
4 1/2 cupOats
1/2 cupButter or margarine
-- softened
1 1/2 cupFig puree'
8 ozRaspberry jam
Procedures:
1Fig puree: combine figs, water and honey in a saucepan; bring to a boil.
2Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes or until softened.
3Using knife blade in food processor bowl; add fig mixture.
4Process 10 seconds or until smooth.
5Preheat oven to 250°F.
6Mix all ingredients except jam.
7Form into "crumbs".
8Press half of mixture into pan sprayed with pam.
9Spread jam on crumb crust.
10Form top layer with remaining mixture.
11Bake 50-60 minutes.
