Raisin-cinnamon doughnut

Ingredients:
2 cupFLOUR, SIFTED
1/4 cupSUGAR
1 tbspBAKING POWDER
1 tspSALT
1/4 tspCINNAMON
1/3 cupSHORTENING
3/4 cupMILK
2/3 cupRAISINS, CHOPPED
1/2 cupBUTTER, MELTED
1/4 cupSUGAR
2 tspCINNAMON
Procedures:
1Sift togther all dry ingredients.
2Cut in shortening with pastry cutter or two knives.
3Mixture should look like small bowls.
4Stir in milk and raisins.
5Turn onto lightly floured board.
6Roll out to ?cut into rounds with floured doughnut cutter.
7Arrange doughnuts on cookie sheets.
8Brush with melted butter.
9Bake 12 minutes in a 425f oven.
10Brush again with melted butter.
11Combine ?c sugar and 2 t cinnamon to make cinnamon sugar.
12Makes 1 dozen
