Raised waffles

Ingredients:
1/2 cupWARM WATER
1 packDRY ACTIVE YEAST
2 cupMILK, WARMED
1/2 cupBUTTER, MELTED
1 tspSALT
1 tspSUGAR
2 cupFLOUR
2 eachEGGS
1/4 tspBAKING SODA
Procedures:
1Place warm water in a large bowl (batter will double it"s original volume).
2Sprinkle yeast in water.
3Let stand for 5 minutes.
4Add warm milk, butter salt, sugar and flour.
5Beat until smooth and blended well.
6Cover bowl with plastic wrap and let stand at room temperature overnight.
7Just before cooking waffles, beat in eggs.
8Add baking soda and stir until well mixed.
9Batter will be thin.
10Pour into very hot waffle iron (?cup to ?cup batter) and bake until waffle is golden and crisp.
11Repeat with remaining batter.
12Note: batter will keep in refrigerator for several days
