Ingredients:
1/3 cupCanola oil
1/2 cupHoney or less
1/4 cupWater
1 tspVanilla
4 1/2 cupUncooked rolled wheat
1 cupUncooked oatmeal
2 cupBran Flakes
1/4 cupShelled sunflower seeds
1/4 cupChopped walnuts
1/2 cupDry non-fta milk
1 cupRaisins or other dried fruit
Procedures:
1Most commercial granolas are high-fat items-this one is low fat and very tasty.
2Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
3In a saucepan heat honey,oil,water and vanilla until blended.
4In a large bowl combine cereals, nuts and powdered milk.
5Pour liquid ingredients over dry and mix well.spread mixture on two jelly-roll pans.
6Bake for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
7Remove from oven, add raisens.
8Let cool until crisp before storing in airtight container.
9Makes about 10 cups.
