Ingredients:
1 cupUnbleached white flour
1 cupWhole wheat flour
2 tspBaking powder
1/4 tspLite salt or less or none
1/4 tspBaking soda
1/4 cupCanola oil
2 tbspVinegar
1 cupSkim milk
Procedures:
1Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
2Sift together flours, baking powder, lite salt and baking soda.
3Cut in oil until mixture looks like coarse corn meal.
4Put vinegar and milk together in a cup and stir.
5Stir enough milk into flour mixture until soft dough is formed.
6Sprinkle flour on countertop and knead dough.
7Roll out dough to 1 inch thick.
8Cut with a biscuit cutter or glass.
9Place on baking sheet.
10Bake about 12 minutes.
11Makes 16 2" biscuits.
