Ingredients:
2 lbsGround Beef
1/2 lbsOnions, chopped
3 ozGeneral purpose flour
30 1/2 ozCanned tomatoes, crushed
1/5 ozMace, ground -or Nutmeg
1/8 ozSalt
1/2 tspPepper
Procedures:
1Cook beef with onions in its own fat until beef loses its pink color, stirring to break apart.
2Drain or skim off excess fat.
3Sprinkle flour over beef; continue cooking until flour is absorbed.
4Add tomatoes, mace or nutmeg, salt and pepper.
5Stir well.
6Simmer 10 to 15 minutes.
7Serve over toast, biscuits, rice or pasta
