Matzo brie (fried matzo)

Ingredients:
4 Matzo crackers
4 largeEggs
1 1/2 tspSalt
3 tbspButter (or shortening)
Procedures:
1Soak matzos in cold water for 2 minutes.
2Drain and crumble.
3Beat eggs and salt together in bowl.
4Add matzo; mix till well-coated.
5Heat butter in skillet and pour in matzo.
6Fry till browned on both sides.
7Serve warm with syrup and/or preserves.
