Mary's kaeskuch (cheese kuchen)

Ingredients:
1 cupFlour
1 tspBaking powder
1 1/2 tspSugar
1/4 tspSalt
1/4 cupButter -- cut up
1/3 cupMilk
2 Eggs
1 1/2 cupCream-style cottage cheese
1/3 cupSugar
1/3 cupHalf-and-half, light cream
Or evaporated milk
1 tbspFlour
1/2 tspVanilla
1/4 tspGround cinnamon
1/8 tspSalt
Procedures:
1For crust: in a large bowl, stir together 1 cup flour, baking powder, 1 ?tsp. sugar and ?tsp. salt.
2Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
3Make a well in the center: add milk all at once.
4Stir just until dough clings together.
5One a lightly flur surface, roll dough into an 11" circle.
6Fit into bottom and up sides of an ungreased 9x1 ? round baking pan.
7Trim crust even with top edge of pan.
8Bake the crust at 350=b0 oven for 5 minutes.
9Set aside.
10For filling: in a large bowl, beat eggs.
11Stir in cottage cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, half and half, 1 tbsp. flour, vanilla, cinnamon and 1/8 tsp. salt until combined.
12Pour filling into crust.
13Bake in a 350=b0 oven for 30 minutes or until center is nearly set when= shaken.
14Cool the dessert on a wire rack for 1 hour.
15Cover and chill for at least 4 hours.
